The Middle East is a region where vehicle is king and fuel is low-cost, often leaving little reward to find more environmentally-friendly methods of moving.
But this year, as protests throughout the Middle East have actually pressed up the price of oil, the concern of discovering alternative sources of fuel has come into sharp focus.
In a region that has among the greatest carbon footprints on the planet, one service is benefiting from the growing pressure to discover alternatives to oil. It's set up the Middle East's first plan to oil into biodiesel. It's showing profitable too, currently their client-list consists of McDonald's.
